I knew this album was going to be about the past but I did not expect it to take the turn it did. I was thinking about my family, and how the torch had been passed to my sisters and me. And there's that moment when we realise that we are now the adult in the room.
I am not going to go into any detail on how this collection of music got to where it is, that story is for another place. But let's just say that to me it feels as if some people are too blind to see. That in their fear and embarrassment of what they have done, they let something go that was for them. And for him? It was obviously not meant to be.
